Complete Your Community Service Hours Online
If you have been ordered to complete community service hours, or are in the pre-trial phase, you can complete your hours virtually from your laptop or computer.
We serve participants from all across the United States, but we strongly urge you to get written approval from your Parole or Probation Officer, Attorney, District Attorney, Assistant District Attorney, or Judge before starting.
Urgent — Get Written Approval
We strongly urge you to email your supervising officer or judge to request permission.
This helps prevent confusion or miscommunication.
When you send your email, make sure to:
- Clearly state that you will complete your community service online from a laptop or computer.
- Do not just say that you “found us online.”
- Confirm that your hours will be approved before starting any work.
We are NOT responsible for any hours completed without written approval.
Sample Email for Approval
You can use the following email template to request permission:
Subject: Request for Approval to Complete Community Service Hours Virtually
Dear [Officer’s Name / Judge’s Name / Attorney’s Name],
My name is [Your Full Name], and I am writing to request permission to complete my required community service hours virtually through an approved online program.
The work will be completed from my laptop or computer, and all assignments will be tracked and verified by the organization. Once I finish all of my assigned hours, I will receive an emailed Letter of Completion confirming my participation and total hours earned.
My assignment will involve writing blog posts for the organization’s WordPress website.
Each blog post I write and upload according to their instructions will count as five (5) hours of community service credit.
To maintain integrity, the organization uses AI detection tools to ensure that all submitted writing is original and created by me.
If you have any questions or concerns about this process, you may contact Ericka Scott directly at 470-223-8865 for verification or more information.
Thank you for reviewing this request. I look forward to your written approval so that I may begin completing my community service hours.
Sincerely,
[Your Full Name]
[Your Case Number, if applicable]
