The Workforce Readiness Workshop is a free program designed to teach men and women how to locate and secure gainful employment.
REGISTER FOR OUR VIRTUAL EMPLOYMENT SKILLS TRAINING WORKSHOP
Our goal is to work with young adults to help them make good choices now, so they can become productive members of society .
The participants will learn four essential skills required to impress each potential employer:
- Complete a job application
2. Locate positions that are mutually beneficial, creating a win-win for the applicant and employer
3. How to properly prepare for the interview, focusing on proper interview attire
4. Answering the difficult questions, if there is a criminal history or other blemish to disclose
Your laptop/ Chromebook or a borrowed Chromebook
We urge you to have either a laptop or Chromebook, since you will learn how to write your resume during the workshop. We will also print five copies of your resume during the workshop.
If you do not own a laptop, no problem! The Cobb County Library has an awesome new program to help you out:
