When you are incarcerated, relying on a higher being for comfort and support is a common way to coup with the time you have to serve. This connection can give you guidance and energy to get through the day and be ready to deal with the things that come at you both good and bad.

When you are released though, keeping this faith can become challenging and even fail altogether. This is because our own selfish ways tend to want to take over our thoughts and desires once again.

It is important to keep your faith that you maintain while incarcerated even after you have left that place though.

This is because a walk in faith can help keep you focused on the good values and characters in life that will also help in keeping your mind right with the things you need to do to be successful and a good member of society.

The easiest way to keep your faith is to continue and practice the things you have been or were while you were incarcerated. This can include reading the Bible and praying regularly.

This can also be, finding a good and welcoming religious organization to be part of. This can include any kind of church or religion that aligns with your beliefs and values of your walk in faith.

Reading the Bible is very fundamental to keeping faith as it continues to draw you close to God and using His words and teachings to guide you towards a better path and better choices in life.

Praying regularly also keeps your communication open with Him. You are able to express the issues you are facing and asking for the help to overcome this. God is someone you can talk to that will not judge you for what you have done or judge you for what you are facing and need help to get through.

Finally, finding a good church or religious organization will help connect you with people who are understanding, compassionate, and forgiving. These people will help you when you are struggling or perhaps considering doing something that you know is wrong.

Building a good relationship with good people can eventually give you someone you can rely on in a time when you need spiritual or real world advice and guidance.
