What is needed after getting out of prison?
An ex-con may need a plethora of things coming out of prison. An important thing that would be needed coming out of prison is an automobile. For most people in America living a prosperous and progressive life one will need a means of transportation. Transportation, since the beginning of the human race, has been an essential for men and woman both. Without transportation or even automobiles the world would not be as advanced as it is today.
An important reason an ex-con might need a car when coming out of prison is to get to and from work. Work also like transportation and automobiles are very much so an essential part of a man or woman’s state of well-being, especially nowadays. Without work for the most part there isn’t any leisure because nowadays a lot of things that are enjoyable require some sort of money in exchange. To get to work comfortably a car would be the best option if able. There are plenty of people that walk and or take public transportation but having a car coming out of prison can save people time and money if used right.
Another reason as to why an ex-con may need a car coming out of prison is for any side hustle or business they are invested in especially if service based. See. Like a job a side hustle can come be very lucrative when done right. Sometimes for any given person working a job might not cut the cake when referring to handling responsibilities and paying bills so that would mean more travel time most of the time depending on the business. If you think a man or woman needs an automobile when working a job, they most definitely need one when working on a side hustle especially in the beginning stages of that venture. Managing a side hustle without a car is do-able but with a car it’d be much better that way depending on the business.
A reason that is sometimes overlooked on why an ex-con could possibly need an automobile coming out of prison is to go and visit relatives. Family is essential for anyone’s mental health because humans are social creatures that crave comradery. With that being said it would benefit any given person to be able to visit a loved one at any given time, especially if they can’t or don’t drive. The older an ex-con is the older his relatives will be and not all elderly people are able to hop in a vehicle and make a two to three trek across state and that can be a burden at times. With that being said a family is essential in self-identity and growth.
In conclusion, an automobile is one of the most helpful things anyone can have. With that being said without one that can be quite a pain. For things such as a job, side gig or even to get see relatives a car can be a lifesaver. To succeed without a car will take an extra level of grit that some people might not have.
